Great Day in Kananaskis doing the cookie marathon. Seeded myself poorly in the start. Tried to make a pass about 5 minutes in because the pace was too slow. Got stuck in the middle out of the tracks and nobody would let me back in when i realized i just couldn't get by on the slower snow. Felt awful for the next 15 minutes as the effort was too much and I was mentally adjusting to the fact that i'd be skiing for a few hours. Then I mentally accepted and really enjoyed the race. Skied my new skis. Never skied on which was a risk but it was too cold for my waxless. Overall feel pretty good about my day. Only minimal foot pain so taking off 2 weeks from classic worked out.

Rough night. Got called about a maternity and then had a very restless sleep. She never delivered so tonight will be sleepless likely. :( Easy spin when i couldn't sleep.
