Back Country skiing 4:30:00 [3] +1400m

Annual pilgrimage to the Furry and Burn't Knob. Today went with Atsuko, Vikki, Russ, and Andrew. Don't think we quite hit the line down on the Furry knob but i think we started the same place. Think we dropped down quite a bit lower than usual. As usual struggled to find the right way up the Burnt Knob. Did exactly what we did last year and came up behind it and walked a whole extra lot more than necessary. Nice run down but had some challenges traversing over. Skied the skid road out was in the dusk. Nothing like the panic of looming darkness to make me continue skiing that section without stopping. Hit the nordic trails in the dark. Definitely an adventure.

Round the dog loop a few times with Logan. Not feeling totally great but I could tell Logan wanted to do something. Called it quits after he had his exercise to rest up hopefully for some touring this weekend.

Back Country skiing 2:30:00 [3] +900m

Tough ski tour day for Bart. He had major skin issues and so we turned around early. First tried to strap his skin on. Then used some rope to wrap up the ski. Snow was so deep you could just ski straight and the alder underweight is pretty scary. Hard to complain about ridiculously deep pow. :)
