Running warm up/down 10:00 [2]
shoes: Hellys

cbf'ed to warm down

Orienteering race 1:28:33 [4] *** 11.4 km (7:46 / km) +330m 6:47 / km
spiked:15/18c shoes: Hellys

first leg was fun, but my route choice (to the right) was not executed perfectly so had extra distance to run :(

drifted too far around a hill (but didn't get to the wrong side, rob :P) going to 5 so lost a minute or two there. the rest was just v conservative route choice, and slooooow running

had really really really tight calves from when I woke up, they were alright for the race but they got really bad when I got out of the car at thornleigh.

thanks damian, and alex for the lift. and Fel and Jules for the pasta night

Running warm up/down 15:00 [2]
shoes: Mizuna Wave UltiMa

hehehe, stingers tops = the best :)

Orienteering race (ACT Sprint) 20:07 [5] ** 3.2 km (6:17 / km)
spiked:22/24c shoes: Mizuna Wave UltiMa

Felt reasonable, but slow. The scale was soooo small, so almost overran stuff, and had a curly route to 11 in the bush. came 9, yay top 10!

the misplaced control was annoying, but other people must be blind, cause I could easily see that the misplaced was the only control in sight and was on a similar feature

Running warm up/down 15:00 [2]
shoes: Hellys

before middle

Orienteering race 38:45 [5] **** 5.35 km (7:15 / km) +115m 6:32 / km
spiked:10/16c shoes: Hellys

fluked 1, and then modified my plan midway through the leg to 3 :S I maintained map contact but it was slow. missed the road before number 7, so hit the road afterwards and lost a 2 mins there. didn't read the map properly for 10 so went over the spur between creeks, ~30 secs there. ripped it to 11 (only 6 seconds off hanny :D), then ripped my back leaving the control :(. got too low on 13, but relocated superbly, another minute. way too far up the gully for 14, ~30 seconds. so in total about 4 or 5 minutes of mistakes, so a perfect run would put me up in pointy end of the field :) something to work towards

Cycling 15:20 [4] 5.0 km (3:04 / km)

to/from oval

Running 13:55 [4] 3.0 km (4:38 / km)
shoes: Mizuna Wave UltiMa

had enough time to do a 30 minute session

so got home, got on the bike to the oval, smashed on the way down, got off the bike, started running, did 10 laps reasonably quickly, got back on the bike, smashed it back up the hill and still got to my appointment late :(

Cycling 51:36 [3] 21.15 km (2:26 / km)

look at that spppeeeeedddd!

felt pretty good, and then another guy on a MTB passed me going up a hill so I stuck to him, going at about 34 km/h for 5 km or so (remember, we were both on MTBs) that was fun :)

Cycling hills 9:36 [4] 2.18 km (4:24 / km) +90m 3:39 / km

don't look at that speed! logging the last 2km separately because it are is (noooo, I've been infected with bad grammar! :P) always really slow, so it makes the other session look better :P

Running 40 [4] 0.15 km (4:27 / km)
(rest day) shoes: Mizuna Wave UltiMa

I'm such a devious character, it was going to be a complete rest day (my legs insisted on it) but no, I managed to fit this in while its back was turned, or at least, while it was too dark for it to notice. God, I'm sneaky! :P

really wanted to do something but Im still sore from saturday and a bit from yesterday so I didn't, but I still managed to find something to log :)
