Event: OMM

Orienteering race (Mountain Marathon) 5:00:00 [5] 10.0 mi (30:00 / mi)

Day 1 of the OMM in horendous conditions, driving rain and really high winds made for slow conditions. Less of a race and more of a battle for survival. Running with Mike Stewart and we did really well all things considered. So glad we didn't have to camp out overnight........that would have been hell on earth!!

Triathlon (Running) 30 [1] 3.0 mi (10 / mi)

Very easy run with Mike with a bit of stretching. Just what the doctor ordered, steady run and talking pace with Mike planning out whats needed for the OMM

Triathlon (Cycling) 2:10:00 [3] 32.5 mi (4:00 / mi)

From Home out the Lang Wang and back via Livingston and Ratho. Wind slightly easier but bike is feeling the pace. Steady ride nothing outrageous and very enjoyable. Out at 8am and the light on the Pentlands was amazing. Worth getting out early for.

Valley Run with Ian Johnston. Was meant to be a nice easy paced run but felt sluggish and really had to push myself all the way. Strong cold wind at start but behind us all the way through the valley. Enjoyable but hard.
