11 AM

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

Jogged round the majority of the middle race from saturday. Almost pefect navigation but obviously no pressure and not worrying about my shin as I knew I could stop if I had to.

Sunday Apr 24, 2011 #

Running 30:00 [3] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

On the last minute so ran to the start straight from the car.
11 AM

Orienteering race 1:11:55 [4] 10.0 km (7:12 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

Had an almost completely clean run just wasn't up to it physically. Had to walk up most of the hills. If the area was more technical I would have had a chance but unfortunately the navigation was easy and I was way down on the leaders. (60 mins)

11 AM

Running 25:00 [3] 3.0 km (8:20 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

Warm up before the middle race. Shin didnt feel great but tried to block it out of my mind.
12 PM

Orienteering race 20:00 [3] 3.0 km (6:40 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

Started fast a tried to plan while running across the field. Felt dead even on the first climb up a bank. Tried to simplify but just ran blindly in the rough direction and couldn't make the map fit anywhere. Even when I found where I was I decided the race was over for me and it wasn't worth racing hard and risking my shin.
