Herod Farm Fell Race. Started well ahead of Ba-ba but The Elk was off the front early on. I held position until the second climb and had to walk all of it. Ba-ba came through me at the top of the steep climb and ran off the top with ease while I was hobbling. Cruised in from here. Really pleased with this, feeling like I am starting race a bit more.

JK Relay on 1st with Malley and PB. Was really keen for this, started steady to make sure I got the controls well. Unfortunately it was so easy and obvious gafflling so wasn't necessary. Fell in a big hole across the open and compass came off, bashed my arm and hand and was a bit winded. Urged myself up and kept going. Was just beind Nixon three controls from the end but missed my control and then missed the next one. Big group came through me which made it more annoying.

Malley had a solid run and Pete going very strong before loosing 2 mins near the end. If I can come back in the chasing pack and Peter has a clean run we'd be podium potential. Let's see.
