Orienteering training 1:14:44 [4] *** 10.33 km (7:14 / km) +41m 7:06 / km
spiked:15/19c shoes: Nike Air Pegasus+

O-training in Mainz, starting from the university. Mostly city and a bit of nature, rarely forest. But nice, long one and went a lot better than expected on only 5h of sleep. Was running strong until after km5, then was getting a bit slower around km6 for 2k (made some unnecessary map reading/walking breaks cause I got tired), but was able than to pick up the pace for the last part of the training again. Felt good :)
Orienteering was OK, good flow and no bigger problems, only minor unconcentrations in the middle of the course. But as it wasn't a reallly difficult course, that doesn't mean a lot yet...
Details:
6) Didn't see the small path on the map first and got confused by it for a few seconds. 15s
13) Miscounted paths and misjudged distance and first wanted to look for the control to soon. 40s
14) Had to stop on top of the meadow next to the edge of the sports field and check direction, cause I was tempted to go in the wrong one. 16s
16) Unsure what I was looking for and first ran a few steps too far, then had to stop and look on the map again, then easily saw the control. 12s

Note

Had planned to do some XC-skiing today, but am just not up to it. Slept 10h, still tired, legs and ab-muscles hurt from yesterday and knee is acting up a bit. So decided to better save myself for tomorrows o-training and have a lazy day at home today...
Only annoying thing is, if I'd known that yesterday, I could have squeezed a long overdue visit to my parents :(

Running 52:02 [2] * 6.96 km (7:29 / km) +130m 6:50 / km
shoes: New Balance NB782

Running around through the Rittnert. Legs were dead tired, no idea from what, but they were, so uphill running really hurt - and there was enough of it to make the training really a pain... But maybe that's a good thing ;)
Can't believe it was only 130m of climb, certainly felt like a lot more...

Yoga 15:00 [1]

Just some stretching moves to loosen the legs...

Running tempo 27:52 intensity: (16:18 @2) + (11:34 @4) 4.27 km (6:32 / km)
shoes: Nike Free

Tempo run.
Warm up 1,1k @7:00
tempo 2k@5:47
Cool down 1,1k @7:18
Felt tired and hard, but after a while got used to the pace. The last 300m were quite hard again, but good have gone farther if I had to and recovered quite fast. Maybe next time something like 2x1,5k or so, we'll see...

Running 45:55 [2] 6.69 km (6:52 / km) +18m 6:46 / km
shoes: Karhu

Uni-o-training, only running tonight. Karin was running in front with a bit faster speed than usual and had us working ;)
Didn't feel super fit, but OK and enjoyed the training, except for the lower abs which felt sore in the end again - no idea why, strange place to get muscle soreness from running and xc-skiing..
