BRL middle distance after the night champs.
Again mostly wandering for me, and a quite clean run o-wise apart from a bit time loss to 3 cause I was a bit too insecure and slow and another dumb2 min mistake to the second-last control (like last night), this time even seeing my control the whole time but telling myself it can't be mine cause I expected it a bit further away - seems like I have to work on some extra concentration for the last controls.
That costed me the second place, but anyway, I'm quite happy with my runs and success for that weekend.
Now add in some training for the physical shape and keep the o as clean as on this runs and there's a bit of potential ;)

German Champs night
Physically I was completely out of shape as was to be expected, which led to me wandering most of the course and taking lots of very direct routes which might could have seen as a bit risky in a night-o, but worked out great. Very clean run apart from 2 mistakes:
1 min. lost on 7 when I missed the path I wanted to go and made a slight detour and one dumb mistake to the second last control when I got a bit out of direction and then confused the re-entrants for a bit (around 2 min lost).
Still, taking nearly 90 min. on a 4,5km straight line course is slow, so I was very surprised when I found out that I was second with that run. I love my new age category, there's certainly some potential there ;)

To the training, dinner and back home. Time and distance an estimate, as I managed to reset my tacho in between.

Running 45:25 [2] 5.44 km (8:21 / km)

Tuesday evening jog with Uta. Was that much in a hurry leaving from work to get there that I managed to take shoes from 2 different pairs, so ended up running in the walking shoes I was wearing to bike there. Was OK as we didn't plan to do anything very long anyway (was my first run in over a month and Uta came from a weekend with 3 competetions) and with not much asphalt.
Time is very slow cause it includes a few short stretching breaks...
