Urban Orienteering race 40:41 [4] 5.0 km (8:08 / km)

Rugby Urban Race.

Emit touch free. Carefully made sure I touched every control plate, but didn't check the light. So had one which hadn't registered. Lesson learnt .

Orienteering race 1:07:06 [4] 9.3 km (7:13 / km)

Army race at Frith hill. Really enjoyed this - a small area but lovely woods and well planned by Collin Dixon, depsite having to take us thru' the same bit of woods several times.

Reasonably smooth - slight avoidable time losses on 1 ( a bit confused by path network), 5 (straighter would have been better ) and 14 (ditto).

Ankle feeling most comfortable it has for many weeks, tho' noticing it a little bit towards the end.

Mountain Bike 1:20:00 [3] 17.4 km (4:36 / km) +500m 4:01 / km

Nice bright sunny afternoon, so I thought I would give the ankle a bit more of a rest and go for a cycle. Along canal round to Cwmcarn, up the scenic drive and on to Mynydd Henllys. Back down mountain road. Ages since I got the bike out. Will try and do some more.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [1] 3.0 km (20:00 / km) +50m 18:28 / km

Hanging some tapes in Newborough for some WJS Training.

Very few youngsters - understandably, a 4th weekend of travel in March, one weekend too much, despite the quality of the terrain. Still good to spend a bit more time one to one coaching with those locals who were able to make it.

Jogged a bit it when putting the tapes out and ankle feeling a lot better than it has, but avoided any shaddowing.
