Note

Ok. Short holiday in the Lakes with Alice and starting to feel better about my running - so time to start logging again......

Stopped after a well below par run at the British in May which I had really been looking forward to. Right ankle really bothering me, not that I went over on it, just getting really tired and sore, basically limping back at the end. Took about 5 weeks totally off running. Saw a new physio, who showed me a different strapping technique and some new exercises which seem to have helped. Was able to get around Jukola, tho hardly starred. Also able to get thru a busy summer of Scandinavian orienteering - FIN5/JWOC/WJS Tour rece , some of WOC spectator races in Estonia, WJS Finland tour , Gothenburg Camp - all of which I really enjoyed tho I was always very wary of my ankle.

An Autumn most noticeable for a cold/cough which seemed to knock me out for about 6 weeks. But got back into a bit of a routine come the middle of November, with Monday night runs from Keith's new pad, MDC runs on Tues, some Army races on Weds and Swansea intervals on Thurs .
