Putting out tapes for WJS / BOK training on Pwll du. Lovely bright clear day, but very chilly wind.
12 PM

Orienteering 1:00:00 [2] 5.0 km (12:00 / km) +100m 10:55 / km

Assorted shadowing. Training seemed to be enjoyed by everybody.

Lovely evening for a run on the Gower.

Tuesday Apr 9 #

7 PM

Run 1:06:00 [3] 10.76 km (6:08 / km) +310m 5:22 / km

MDC run from Llangybi. Not run from there in the past The ruined castle was well worth the visit, and views from the trig at the highest point pretty good, but the long sunken lane on the Pen y Lan ridge was aweful - 2k of treacherous slimy limestone. Pub ok, but overpriced.

Strength & Conditioning 45:00 [3]

7 PM

Run 1:10:01 [3] 13.14 km (5:20 / km) +15m 5:18 / km

Probably the flatest Bristol Monday Night run ever. Start by the feeder canal and ran up the Avon to just past Hanham Lock then retraced our steps - tho Alice and I made the others take a bit of a detour up one of the wooded slopes . We also took advantage of the possibility of cutting out the big bend at Conham

Sunday Apr 7 #

6 PM

Run 33:45 [3] 5.55 km (6:05 / km) +80m 5:40 / km

Pub lunch and lunch time beer, very pleasant, but not very conducive to getting out for a run later. Short easy loop with Alice over the golf course and back via the canal about all we could manage.
