Loop around the Solar Farm checking out the footpath above it. That started Ok but the last bit just before Mountain Rd, completely covered by impenetrable brambles. From there down to the canal and saw a Kingfisher catch a fish which was cool.

Golf course, Rogerstone Rec, Rhiwderin - then a slightly different route by Fox Hill and Coed Mawr - and back down the river comme d'habitude.

Finding some different routes really starting to strech our ingenuity.

Miss delivery by our postie gave a reason for a slightly different route - via Upper Wenallt farm. And a bit of a chat - good job his phone rang, otherwise we might have been there all afternoon....

Back down to Ty Sign, the canal and the golf course.

Twmbarlwm via a bit of trespassing around Pant-yr-Eos reservoir. Back down to the Darran and the canal.

Just started snowing as we left the house. Increased quite rapidly and made for a very pretty run, if a bit slippery and slow coming off Twmbarlwm.
