Walking around on the Leadville Marathon course taking photos ect. Pretty much a day off to recover from all the vertical of the last few days. Was going to get up early this morning to do another 14er before the end of the marathon but staying up until 2am drinking blew those plans.

Estes Trail Ascent!!! This is a fun and hard ass race! 3rd overall and 1st in age group. Couple of 19 year old cross country runners from Princeton got a gap on me at mile 1.5 and I could not quite close it at the end. They both beat me by about a min. Very happy with this result.

Dirty Thirty 12miler. 9th over all and 3rd age group. Solid run. Started to far back in the field and was rolling up people the whole time. Think if I would have started more towards the front and not ran the first 2 miles with a buddy may have moved up 3-4 spots.
