Event: Red Hot 50K

Running race (Trail race) 6:30:32 [4] 34.0 mi (11:29 / mi) +4500ft 10:12 / mi
slept:8.0 shoes: Montrail Streak

Hell of a day. Started at what I thought was an easy effort and hit mile 17 at 2:35. Then hit mile 23 at 3:45 where I lost my stomach. Tryed to keep running as much as possible and hit mile 29 at 5:20 or so, out of energy at this point from not keeping anything down. Run/walk to the finish, oh well. I will do a full write up on the blog Mon/tues.

Hike/Walk/Ruck 15:00 [2] 1.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

Quick walk to loosen up. Sore in lower back and back of legs from yesterday. Not used to carrying a heavy pack for long periods.

Decided to take a rest day to get rid of some of the soreness.
