Note
(sick) (rest day)

Took the whole day off to really let this pass. Just watched football day and chilled out. Have not left the house in 2 and half days. Forced taper right? Regretting switching races now, oh well.

Bagging the cyclocross race in Parker today to rest up and recover from this cold. Might go for an easy ride later today or might just take the whole day off.

Slept in until just after 5 which is late for me. No run before work today, blew up into a massive head cold. Working from home since the boss does not want me spreading around the office. Might get out later for an easy 5 if I can breath better after some drugs.

From camp at Lake Como to the summit of Little Bear (14er) and back to camp. Finally go one of the hardest 14ers in the state done. Been wanting this one for a long time. Slow going but got it done.

Hike/Walk/Ruck (Trail) 1:50:50 intensity: (1:50:49 @1) + (1 @3) 4.29 mi (25:50 / mi) +169ft 24:54 / mi

Back pack out of camp back down to the car for the 4 hour drive home. Awesome weekend. Love tapering time so I can get back to my first love of climbing 14ers and not have to worry about training.

What a fun couple of days. This was backpacking into Como Lake (11,900ft), setting up camp, then grabbing the 14ers Ellingwood Point and Blanca in the afternoon since the weather was holding. Super windy on top sections. Back to camp afterwards. Scott was pretty wasted so not much else that evening except bugging him to eat and drink as much as possible.
