Feeling a wee bit dusty this morning after a few beersies last night, beautiful day though so still headed out. Took my pack with gear to get used to running with it. Went through RC, up pineapple track and up to flagstaff, loop around the top for longer than I had planned as it was just so nice running the trails up there in the sun. Quite fast back down pineapple but felt good, new shoes real nice for it. Might knock a few minutes of my runs this week as I didn't mean to go this far today.

10min warm up, 30min sub-threshold on the Big Easy, and then back down the steep way and home. Nice place to do a solid run, so easy to get into a good rhythm on the big easy. Felt good but didn't push the pace until the last few min where it was a bit more like a tempo. Long run tomorrow.

Easy fartlek. Feeling a bit flat. Tried out my new shoes, they were ok, felt slightly cramped to start with and a bit less cushioned in the forefoot. Will see how they go on longer runs.
