Wee bit tender after yesterday, legs from running, shoulders from Sunburn. Will try and get out for a few easy jogs this week and then back over to Queenstown for Orienteering next week.

Ultra Easy 100km Relay in Wanaka. Josh, Ryan, Eugene, Me and Brooke, in that order.
My leg was 9km of gradual uphill, 10km gradual down with a few bumps and then 10km steep downhill. Started pretty hard, took a while to get into a rhythm, but found it after a few km and cruised up pretty well after that. Gel and water at the top, passed the third place solo runner (20min catch). First 10km of the decent was nice, a wee bit technical, awesome views, not too steep. Took a second gel before the steep section started and began wondering why I chose this leg. Track was far too steep to bomb at that stage of the race, felt like I was going pretty slow. Suffered to the bottom and realised I had 1km of flat in the heat. Battled along and tagged Brooke.
Ok race, pacing could have been better, should have looked better at the profile/distances. Won the relay pretty comfortably, pretty fun weekend, not sure I'd do the same leg if I did it again though...

Easy cruise around Botans/Logan park, couple strides on the track and then back to uni. Feeling alright. Will see if I get time for an easy jog tomorrow.

Was feeling a bit like I was getting sick last night and this afternoon. Just went for a short jog around the inlet to get some fresh air and stretch the legs. Glad I went, felt much better after getting outside. Still going to take it cruisy for the rest of the week. Looks like we could be racing through snow at the weekend!
