Long flat steady run on the waterfront. 60mins easy, 40mins steady (4min/k). Felt good on the easy part, but legs were a bit unresponsive when I picked it up. Probably still a bit tired from last weekend, plus it was a headwind on the way back. Time for a couple of big weeks before easing up for Southern Lakes.

Hill session on Atawhai Rd. Did 3x(90, 60, 30sec). Just wanted a shorter faster session after a big weekend of flat tempo. Did them about 3k-5k effort and kept the recovery pretty short (run back down). Definitely a bit weak at this type of thing at the moment, good session, didn't take much out of me.
