Event: Boulder Dash
 

Orienteering race (Boulder Dash Day 1 Green) 1:34:01 [4] **** 4.77 km (19:43 / km) +255m 15:33 / km
spiked:11/13c shoes: Jala Jukola Spider 6 (old)

RAIN. So I went even slower than usual and did more map simplification (because I had trouble seeing it with all the rain). No major errors. Not only that, but the 3 women in my age group that I thought could beat me all had trouble with one or more controls & I ended up 1st for the day! Whoa--pressure's on!

HR 120 when I finished--not bad for walking. I was trying to push it today even though I was JUST walking. Now I'm feeling it in my legs/hips. (That's what ibuprofen is for, right?)
