Orienteering race (Green-Y course) 1:27:09 [4]*** 6.16 km (14:09 / km) +185m 12:18 / km
spiked:12/13c shoes: Jala Jukola Spider 6 (old)
Day 2 @ Wolf's Den, Mashamoquet Brook State Park, Pomfret, CT
Another really good course; not a great route choice on #4, but was there one?? (how do you get through the mountain laurel?) A course for runners (which I'm not much of), for sure.
Note
Warm-up...Jogged on the way to the start, ~350m, then walked the remaining 350m.

Green Y Day 2 - Splits

Saturday Apr 8

Event: NEOC Spring Rock Festival and Intercollegiates

Running (trail) warm up/down 3:00 [2]0.4 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Jala Jukola Spider 6 new
Orienteering race (Green-Y course) 59:16 [3]*** 3.6 km (16:28 / km) +105m 14:22 / km
spiked:16/17c shoes: Trail NB 705 8.5D
Day 1 at Wells State Park, Sturbridge, MA.
Good run, about what I expected to do (I was hoping to take around an hour, and that's what it turned out to be). My bobble was near the end; 90 degree error on stone walls; lost about a minute.

Green-Y - Splits

Friday Apr 7

Walking 19:22 [3]1.3 mi (14:53 / mi)
P.O. and back.

Wednesday Apr 5

Exerc. Class 1:00:00 [2]
"Circuit" training today, so more strength than stepping in the circuit (actually, there was only one step station).

My plan WAS to come home and do more stepping to an exercise tape, but I got two phone calls, each after I had started to get my heart rate up a little. So I quit. I added 5 minutes to the usual exercise class time to cover the few uninterrupted minutes I did.

Tuesday Apr 4

Note
(rest day)
Took Glen's car for a oil change/check-up; it needed new brake pads and re-ground rotors, so it cost a little more than expected. Also took longer than your typical oil change...

Monday Apr 3

Exerc. Class 55:00 [2]
