Sunday Apr 30

Orienteering race (Brown Long-O course) 1:30:00 [3]*** 4.89 km (18:24 / km)
spiked:10/10c shoes: Jala Jukola Spider 6 (old)
F-brown open. Perhaps not the best route choices, but my time is about what I expected given the light green woods on most of the course. I also took the opportunity to stop at the viewpoint on the way to #6 (mapped as a cross--it's not a cemetery but a couple of large wood crosses that look out over the Hudson valley). Time not official because I vetted # 3 for Glen earlier in the season, though I hadn't been on the rest of the map.

Brown - Splits

Saturday Apr 29

Event: US Short and Long Championships

Walking 15:00 [1]
Walked up to viewpoint SW of C.P. before dinner to see the view West and North-northeast. Spectacular view on a sunny, clear day.

Friday Apr 28

Running (road) 39:53 [3]3.2 mi (12:28 / mi)
Jefferson Hill loop (CW). Walked up the BIG hill (3:15) but ran the rest. Since I probably won't have time to run this weekend......

Wednesday Apr 26

Exerc. Class 55:00 [2]
Managed to make it to exercise class; I needed the stress reducer (neck muscles tight from sitting too much at the computer). Too much to do Monday to even think of going then. And it's hard to schedule even a walk!
