Orienteering 1:52:35 [4] *** 5.45 km (20:39 / km) +200m 17:27 / km
spiked:9/11c shoes: Jala Jukola Spider 6 (old)

French Creek North (DVOA), temps in upper 80's. Green course. Good thing we were in the woods. I didn't really feel the heat (until afterwards) but managed to mess up a couple of controls by not verifying my attack points off trails. Time includes a stop at the car (route to #1 went right by the parking lot) to pick up my bifocals so I could read the 1:15000 map! Good course by Mark Cornish.

Walking 23:06 [2] 1.65 mi (14:00 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Shadow 6000 8.5 #1

To post office and back to mail a bill and a birthday card... I didn't push it too much.

Split times for yesterday's trail run were 16:58 (up to the pond, ~1.1 mi), 9:36 for the loop, and 15:07 back down to the parking lot.

Running (dirt) 41:42 [3] 2.9 mi (14:23 / mi)

Hand Hollow, West Lebanon. Green trail west from Rt. 9 to the pond, then around the loop CCW, and return on green trail. A nice breeze kept the FDF squadron down to a minimum (I think I only killed a half-dozen +/-). Saw activity on the great blue heron nest! I'll have to go back with binoculars.

Exerc. Class 55:00 [3]

Last day at "The Firm" on Main Street. :-(

Instructor Jennifer has made arrangements to use the American Legion hall, which is tiny and may smell smoky...

Yard wrangling 1:00:00 [1]

Decided to log the weed pulling as gardening today instead of as a note -- it was hard, sweaty, and involved shoveling (but easier than the last time because the ground was damp from all the rain). I was actually out there for 2 hours, but am only counting 1/2 of that as training. STILL not done with the area above the rocks, but one more session should do it...
