Started cloudy but sun kept trying to peek through; upper 70s.

We originally planned to bike from Sand Island near the Rt 378 bridge in Bethlehem, but there was a Celtic Festival going on, so we detoured to Freemansburg (next town east).

On Bethlehem and Freemansburg canal towpath trails adjacent to the Lehigh, between Bethlehem and Easton. This is the next portion up from where we rode between Rt 33 and Easton a few months ago. End points were the Boat Launch parking area east of Rt 33 (which had portajohns) and the Minsi Bridge in Bethlehem.

Saw where the Saucon Creek dumps into the Lehigh (near the bend S off Freenmansburg). They cut some of the weeds (invasive Japanese knotweed) down there for a viewpoint.

Jordan Parkway mtb trails on another beautiful day, temps in low 70s with low humidity. I felt more confident on these trails than last time I rode them.

Stayed mostly on the trails N of the Jordan Creek, seeing a few of the disc golf tees and holes along the way.

Greenbush (old Cat's Agenda) map, abbreviated green course (because it was raining and I couldn't read the map well). I spiked all the controls I went for:
1-2-3-4-5-9-10-15-16-17

Then, of course, when I was done the rain was letting up, and it would have been great to be starting then, but I decided my time would be better spent removing the sticky seeds (three types today as opposed to yesterday's two) from my soggy socks and O pants.

Chatted with Brenda afterwards; she decided to do Orange today. Mary finished the Green. :-)
