And so ends the quest to complete every street in Upper Saucon Township! This was a short section of a dead-end road that is otherwise all in Bucks County. Intriguing that it had not one but two concrete county line markers (one was across the road from the other, not at the other county line crossing), erected in 1963. About 30, sunny with a bit of N breeze.

The Quakertown end of the rail trail that connects to the Saucon Rail Trail that we can travel from Hellertown south. On the way back to where we parked we explored the nature trail that goes along a branch of the Tohickon Cr in places...evidence of flooding from last year's hurricane remnant was still obvious. This is a trail to take in winter when the mud is frozen, and NOT anytime when it might be wet. Saw some interesting ice formations on the creek.

Roads in Coopersburg on a cold blustery day. A Covid cloth mask over my nose helped (buffs and scarves don't stay up). ~28 and 15+ mph winds from the North. 11 more streets in Coopersburg, bringing me up to 80%. One more outing needed there to complete the village.

Almost finished UST (one small portion of a street in the SE part of the township--with 9 nodes--to go; see map). We did another shuttle, leaving Glen's car on Stonesthrow Rd, me shuttling him to the bottom of Pike to run from there back to his car, then I dropped my car at Big Rock Park and walked from there towards his car. That let us both come *down* Honeysuckle...that last little bit is a doozy.

He caught up to me sooner than I figured....

About 36 and cloudy, some breeze from the N.

Interesting casting at the end of someone's drive along Honeysuckle:

Walked four more streets in UST; 3 to go. 99% complete. Glen and I did a car shuttle so that I could start at the top of Flint Hill (instead of having to climb up from the parking spot at the top of Wards Rd, adding 200 feet, and then backtrack). HR is likely bogus. Mid 30s and hazy sun.

I walked down Flint Hill to Wards, did a loop, then returned to the car parked on Wards Rd. He (of course) ran up the segment from Wards to the top of the hill (where he had dropped me off) and beyond, ending up where we'd left the other car. The man has iron legs! (Mine are rusty.)

Went to Coopersburg (separately from Glen) to walk on streets on the west side of 309, north of State St. Though I forgot to do an out-and-back on Landis, CityStrides gave me credit. About 30, partly sunny, and breezy.

3 PM

Walk/Jog 15:50 intensity: (53 @1) + (12:54 @2) + (1:30 @3) + (33 @4) 1.58 km (10:01 / km) +29m 9:12 / km

Parked on the other side of 309 to get a few straggler streets there.

Almost 2/3rds complete in Coopersburg now.
