Walking 42:20 intensity: (5:18 @0) + (37:02 @1) 3.75 km (11:17 / km) +26m 10:54 / km

Close to home, to shake out the legs...some sore muscles and joints from yesterday's effort, so didn't push it.

Near 40 and still mostly sunny.

We saw a flock of snow geese fly over our neighborhood shortly before I headed out! They'd been on corn fields and large lakes around here so I suspect they're moving on to find more open areas now that everything is under a lot of snow.

Went to Pool Wildlife Sanctuary in Emmaus (rather than South Mtn with Glen) because I knew the hills would be gentle, and there might possibly be birds. Only saw a couple of chickadees from the bird blind near feeders at the end, but saw a few flitting away through the trees, and some sparrows before I headed out. Broke trail in some places, including most of the Woodland Loop, and followed in footprints of other snowshoers elsewhere. One of them had snowshoes almost twice the length of my Dions!

Beautiful; had to get out on this mostly sunny mid-40s day, but could have gotten more steps if I'd walked roads closer to home.

Walking 30:00 [1]

Walking around the grocery stores. I put on at least a mile and didn't have time for other exercise so this is it.

Walking 54:40 intensity: (51 @0) + (50:32 @1) + (3:14 @2) + (3 @3) 5.1 km (10:43 / km)

Neighborhood walk (because, where else would I go?). 33 and cloudy.

Lots of houses in the community (including ours) still haven't been plowed out by the landscaping contractors. (We hear the gripes and the excuses....) Mother Nature's lockdown? Glad Glen shoveled out to the road.

Strength 15:00 [1]

Cleared enough snow on the back patio so I can access the bird feeder and fill it (though I just ran out of food). Drifting left piles anywhere from 15" to 2.5'. Still snowing lightly as I log this, 52 hours after it started on Sunday, though the sun keeps trying to peek through. I plan to take a stroll around the neighborhood to see the snow clearing progress (and where the crews are working). It may be some time tomorrow before the drive is cleared (Glen shoveled a path to the road).

3 PM

Walking 1:04:06 intensity: (26 @0) + (1:01:02 @1) + (2:30 @2) + (8 @3) 5.44 km (11:46 / km)
ahr:97 max:121

Stayed on roads in the neighborhood, which had been cleared (by a dump truck with plow; one width only), stopping once to talk to a neighbor and a few times to avoid driveway-clearing Bobcats. (Only two?? For 235 houses?? They're gonna take forever!) It was still lightly snowing, but 33 degrees F so it melted on contact, with me at least.

Yoga 30:00 [1]

Deanna's short sun salutations class while it snowed.

Walking 52:00 intensity: (6:38 @0) + (13:36 @1) + (31:30 @2) + (16 @3) 5.22 km (9:58 / km) +1m 9:57 / km
ahr:100 max:123 shoes: 2015 Altra LP2.0-9 lime

Staying local because the snow had started about 20 minutes earlier. Sidewalks were collecting snow already but roadways were still mostly clear, partly because of the sun yesterday (I believe) and partly because of all the salt the cleanup crew put down for the non-ice-storm of a few days ago. Walked to Hopewell Park and then around the neighborhood enough to get 5k. About 28 with hardly any breeze.
