Note

Aha! I unlocked the Ministry of Silly Walks badge, which requires at least 150m of silly walks, and a minimum 35 min outing. Hmmm.

2 PM

Walking (CMTR Spring) 1:07:20 intensity: (41 @0) + (18:55 @1) + (45:47 @2) + (1:54 @3) + (3 @4) 6.03 km (11:10 / km) +39m 10:49 / km

More streets in LST (4 completed; two progressed). Mid 30s, cloudy and breezy with occasional gusts, but not as windy as yesterday.

Will claim another CMTR badge, Jeopardy Jaunt/ F-Cancer Run, in memory of my dad.

Note
(rest day)

Didn't want to face today's wind so bailed on exercise. Instead I looked at my photos from yesterday at Middle Creek and will share these three here. The first is supposed to be a video. If you click on it you can play the video in Flickr. The swans are tundra swans. And there were plenty of ducks and other birds around.

Hiking 47:00 intensity: (27:00 @0) + (20:00 @1) 1.67 km (28:07 / km)
ahr:96 max:154

On mostly pavement, in search of snow geese, at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area (webcam; check during daylight hours). We arrived at the viewpoint while they were still on the water, some took off once, and then all of a sudden they all (almost all) departed for the fields or the air. We've been here before during the peak migration; it's always inspiring to see. The FB feed (below the webcam video) counted 70,000 snow geese, 750 Canada Geese, and 800 Tundra swans, all of which we saw along with some random ducks and gulls. Pictures, maybe, tomorrow.

6 more LST streets in CityStrides. Near 50 and sunny--glorious day! CMTR Die is Cast badge #2 (I rolled a 3 and a 5, so minimum 3.5 miles).

One "street" that's in CS does not exist...

Yoga 50:00 [1]

Deanna's gentle class for trapezius muscles.

(Cold and windy outside today.)

Walking (CMTR Spring) 59:02 intensity: (40 @0) + (32:36 @1) + (23:59 @2) + (1:47 @3) 5.28 km (11:11 / km) +57m 10:37 / km
ahr:100 max:123 shoes: Altra Torin Plush4-silv

Wanted a change of scenery (vs walking in the wide open spaces near home on a windy day), so I found a nice loop in LST, including a pedestrian-only bridge over the Saucon Creek. 45, and mostly cloudy, breezy.

Also, claimed Poetic Justice badge for CMTR Spring challenge.

Note
(rest day)

Rain plus club winter meeting meant no exercise. Needed a day off anyway.

Tomorrow I can begin the CMTR Spring Scavenger Hunt.
