Strolled over to Hopewell Park to check out the roses in the Rose Garden there (planted a few years ago). It's small but nice and many roses are still in full bloom.

Mill Hill Preserve--trail to MontCo high point (218m per OSM), then back via some other trails in the preserve. Many of the trails had some healthy poison ivy at the edges. Lots of boulder fields and large boulders along the Mill Hill ridge. Low 80s but nice in the woods.

Stopped afterwards at a fairly new brewery west of Allentown, Rising River Brewery in E. Texas, PA. A bit busy on the holiday weekend, but I've heard it's busier on other weekends. (Holiday weekend barbecues may be drawing folks away.) It's still busy, but we found a quiet corner near the Little Lehigh to enjoy our chosen brew (called Moonstruck, or something like it).
