Orienteering race 1:09:25 [5] 9.2 km (7:33 / km) +250m 6:39 / km
shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon 212

Went to Northern Champs at Big Moor near Sheffield!! Had a really gd run to win and also beat Tom! hehe! Ran really well, didnt make any mistakes but hesitated at couple!

Went to SYO middle distance race at Beeley Woods. Warmed up well, set off well. Losed 2 mins on number 4. Ran well, didnt really notice the climb because it wasnt steep.

Went to night o at Ling fell, it was well gd because it was really misty so you could only see like 10 metres infront of you so you had to be spot on with navigation, had a gd run, made mistakes on number 5 and 7. Ran well!

Went to Sams class for a break from revising, was gd to get out after 6 hours of revision!! We did the same as last week but with more hill rep things!

Went to the club chase at Hawse end! Was gd. Had a gd run, losed 2 min on one control, ran ok! We had a cake stall to raise money for Norway!!

Went oing on Mosser fell, had a gd run, two mistake on number 4 and 11 (Losed about 3 mins). Ran well so pleased

Went on an epic run today. Set off at 3, ran up the hay (easy running), then did a couple of fast circuits, then did terrain running in the far end of the wood off the paths, then some hills. Then jogged past golf club down the hill and back up the road to the bottom of state fell, hills on slate fell, then into the wood for some terrain running (very slow as it was dark) then back to school!!! All I can say is EPIC!!!

By the time we got there, we only did about 45 mins rather than an hour. Was gd but Graham doesnt do it properly, these little kids who about 8 do it better than him!

Went for a run with dad. Went to Low rigg. Ran over low rigg and high rigg, round the bottom of high rigg in St Johns in the vale and then back over low rigg to the car. Was really gd to get out. Nice run!! Did a bit of navigation on high rigg.

Went to Sams class. Started with a warm up, then 7 times 1 and half minute 95% effort. Then 10 times 10 second sprints. Then a warm down. I ran back home the long way and it took me ages.

Am only doing a little training at the mo because I have exams!! :(

Thursday Jan 7, 2010 #

Started with 1.1 mile run on treadmill. Then 1.5 km on the rowing machine. Then 1.5 miles on bike. Then 1 mile on cross trainer. Then reps on the leg weight machine:

5 times 40kg
5 times 60kg
5 times 80kg
5 times 90kg

Did that twice (Legs sore)

Then finished off with a half mile run. Was gd to get to the gym.

Went for a really nice run with Tom and Graham. Went up to Teggs Nose in the snow and back.

Lyme park event was cancelled so me, Graham and Tom went to collect controls.
