Jackies Man Uni session. Run there and back. 10 minute threshold, 2* 5*40 seconds (80 seconds recovery). Good session, sore hamstrings though. Finished with stretching and then foam rolling when I got home.

Jackies session with Man Uni. Easy warm up and drills. Then 6 minute threshold, 2 minute recovery, 4*3mins (1 minute trying to float through them), 4*90seconds (30 second float). Felt strong and the kept to floating because I usually get better reps out with floating rather than slowing right down.

From just above Hayfield, to Kinder Reservoir, Sand Heys, Kinder Downfall, back via William Clough. Hilliest run since leaving the Lakes. Really enjoyed being out on the hills but the wind was brutal.

Steady run down to the water park and then 8 laps at a tempo pace feeling strong while getting some odd looks. Then steady home. Good to get out for a long one, would usually go slower on these ones.

Track session with MMU. 4*800m. Hit everyone at 2:37ish (3:16min/km). Felt good but didn't think much of the session for people who want to train for XC races. Used Tom for the first 400 on each one and then hit it slightly harder for the last 400 and ran away from him.
