Moved in on Friday, full day of painting Saturday and Sunday. Sorting smaller stuff out today. Properly moving in on Wednesday as we don't have a bed yet...

First run from the new house this afternoon - about 90 seconds of road, cracking stuff! Out to North Thirds and back via Sauchie

Orienteering 1:22:04 [3] 12.0 km (6:50 / km) +475m 5:43 / km

S6D - Day 6. Great race.

Taylor Vs Malley - This classic battle came to a dramatic finish today. After Taylor nearly catching Malley by control 3, Malley refocused and pushed on to gain back time on Taylor and gain exactly 2 minutes overall. See you in 2019....

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 6.5 km (9:14 / km)

Warm up then collecting controls afterwards

Friday Aug 4, 2017 #

Orienteering 46:23 [3] 7.0 km (6:38 / km) +225m 5:43 / km

S6D - Day 5 feet were taped up, two pairs of socks for padding and I was ready to go...until number 1. Don't ask what happened. Orienteers fairly solid but slow to 10 where I lost about 90 seconds at least. Rest was average.

Taylor v Malley Day 5. What is becoming a standard for the week is both runners had poor runs but Taylor came out on top today to push his lead from 8 seconds to a huge 1 min and 13 seconds. Whatever happens tomorrow, this will go down in history as an absolute classic battle. See you in Glen Feardar!

Running 25:00 [3] 3.0 km (8:20 / km)

Thursday Aug 3, 2017 #

Orienteering 1:16:00 [4] 10.0 km (7:36 / km) +375m 6:24 / km

S6D - Day 4. Bad run but orienteering wasn't that bad,
just couldn't move for bleeding blisters...

Taylor v Malley - Malley had the better of Taylor today
Taking back all but 8 seconds of Taylor's advantage going into stage 5 tomorrow. Tense stuff, who cares about the top of the M21E table, it's all about what will go down in this historic mid packers battle...

Running 25:00 [3] 3.0 km (8:20 / km)

Tuesday Aug 1, 2017 #

Orienteering 44:48 [3] 6.0 km (7:28 / km) +275m 6:04 / km

S6D - Day 3. Fairly solid race mainly on my own apart from maybe 90 seconds hanging on to Duncan Coombs early on. Some stupid misses but really enjoyed today. Felt like I was orienteering well, just lacking some running fitness.

Taylor v Malley Day 3 - Malley took today's stage and gained back time to decrease Taylor's margin to 5:11 minutes as they go into the rest day. Halfway through the week, it's still all to play for....

Running 25:00 [3] 3.5 km (7:09 / km)
