Ochils 2000s route run. Enjoyed it mostly, took about 30 mins to get running. Kept the pace steady but never pushing into the red. Got hit by some big rainstorms around Ben Cleuch. Felt strong all the way but I don't think the climb up Dumyat after the descent into mentstrie will become any easier. Good training!

So not feeling great post run yesterday was the start of I think is a viral infection. Didn't sleep well at all Saturday night. Couldn't seem to keep anything down ect. Kirsten ended up driving the whole way back while I just sat there holding my stomach. The worst car journey

Run home from work. It was hot and most of it on hard ground. Ran with a water bottle which I rarely do on weekday runs but glad I did.

Back to it after 2 weeks on holiday in the Canadian Rockies. Amazing trip and fully recommend to anyone who enjoys mountains and all that good stuff.

Out through Polmaise, farm, up the Sauchie river trail, along the middle set of crags, Sauchieburn, Sauchie Ponds and back. Felt fine and just enjoying being back running.
