Strength 30:00 [2]

Did the normal strength session. Was going to go to the club training which was a long steady run but I had an awful night sleep last night and thought that I would end up being ill if I went running so went back to bed for a few hours. When I got up, felt much better. Going to go for a nice easy short run later.

Short Run 45:00 [3] 6.5 km (6:55 / km)

Short run, out to the 2.5km track. Once around the the track and back. Was gd, took it nice and easy.

Terrain running 1:30:00 [4] 10.0 km (9:00 / km) +200m 8:11 / km

Went terrain running from the club hut. Was really nice, all the way in about a foot of snow. When I got to Lottinge hill. I did some terrain hill work for 15 minutes and then carried on back to the club hut. Was realy nice and the temperture has risen loads (only -1C), felt like a heat wave!

Nice run out to the lake through the forest and back.

When I got to the lake, I did some short hill sprints.

Terrain running tempo 29:00 [5] 5.7 km (5:05 / km)

Training tonight was like a terrain running time trial. It was all on paths but it was heavy going in the snow so am calling it terrain running. Set a nice pace but then my torch ran just after half way so was using my little petzl. As soon I hit the light tracks for the last 500m, I pushed it much harder. Pleased with my time and pleased with my stamina throughout. Was a really nice trail as it had flats, downhill and uphill sections so was a gd orienteering test. Will probably do it again sometime.

Nice warm up with some drills and then some stretching afterwards. Then hit the sauna and showers which was really nice!! :)

Went swimming because I wanted to do some cross training. Was gd but I need to get better at swimming.

Same as last week. Started with a warm up of skipping which am still awful at. Then did strength work.

Went for a terrain running from the house.

Warm up and down before and after intervals. Was really needed tonight because it was -18C!

We did long intervals tonight.

Went for a nice slow recovery run around Taby Kyrkby.

Did a strength session because spinning was cancelled because they had a water leak, abit inorying because its a really gd session.
