Walk from Castleton with everyone.
9 AM

Running 1:00:00 [3] 9.0 km (6:40 / km) +300m 5:43 / km

Pre Breakfast run from Hathersage YH to Stanage Edge. Really nice run out. Need to do more running in the peaks.

Orienteering 26:03 [3] 4.75 km (5:29 / km) +200m 4:32 / km

Whinlatter Orienteering 45 min score. Mass start with everyone there (52 people). All the controls were on paths so everyone could run the same course. Mike N and Ricky lightfoot turned up so there was some competition on the start. Let off and didn't see them all the way round. Ran with David for part of it, pushing me. Felt good all the way but struggled on the hills. Got all of the controls well with two errors with my route.

Trail run in Whinlatter with Toby. Hangover run trying to sweat out the alcohol. Felt like an effort but enjoyed the run out and had a good crack with Toby.

Monday Dec 31, 2012 #

Running tempo 31:02 [3] 7.0 km (4:26 / km) +90m 4:10 / km

Old 7km loop. Went out at tempo pace and felt good and pushed on and just kept pushing to end. Ended up being a time trial half way around to see what I could get. The route is made up of muddy field and tracks and road. Pleased with the time and felt strong through the thick muddy fields on the first section.
