Running 1:14:00 [3] 8.8 km (8:25 / km) +810m 5:46 / km

Up and down run up Hopegill head and Grasmoor and then down to the lake to meet the family. Top off weather all the way, scare a few tourist. Feel myself getting stronger on the hills. Jumped in the lake afterwards, first time in a while I've ran up in the hills with no t-shirt and then swam in the lake. This weather has to last.

Orienteering 36:59 [3] 5.1 km (7:15 / km) +200m 6:04 / km

Evening event on Hog wood and Ladies table. Really like this area and enjoyed the race. Found it tough going and orienteered much better than last week overall. Aim was to read the contours well because the thats what has let me down in the last couple of weeks. Lost 1 min on the long leg because I didn't keep to my plan and got dragged by the terrain. David taught me back up but soon pushed away. Just under 5 mins clear of 2nd place. Its been a while since an evening event had a decent course with changing legs lengths.

Running 23:00 [2] 2.5 km (9:12 / km)

Jog up the hill beforehand and then run round the forest afterwards.

Running 41:00 [4] 8.3 km (4:56 / km) +420m 3:57 / km

Nice run around the trials in Whinlatter. Wanted to get a big climb in so ran down to Comb beck and then climbed all the way up to Ullister hill and then along to Seat how (5.1km, 390m climb, 29:04). Not a bad little climb, all at gradient you can run well at. Tried to keep form all the way. Think I will build that climb into a session when I start work. Could work as a 5*5min hill session with an easy recovery back down.
