Running 30:00 [2] 3.5 km (8:34 / km)

Ran to the start for the o event, started but then rolled my ankle going into number two so walked back because I didn't want to risk it.

Running 36:20 [5] 8.9 km (4:05 / km) +244m 3:35 / km

Latrigg round fell race (more like a trail race). Set off to quick and people soon started coming past. Settled into my own pace. Near the end Toby got on my heel for 30 seconds and then took off for 10m. Kicked just before the swimming pool, caught three people from Ellenborough with toby just ahead. Should of kicked just going into the park to catch Toby but didn't. One of the Ellenborough guys came past me with about 100m to go, gave him 2 metres and then kicked past him and had a sprint finish with him and took the win. Got him back for the Lords Seat race. Learned alot from the race. Need to stop cruising along at a comfortable pace and need to learn how to push myself to work up to the next group.

Probably not the greatest idea to do a interval session the day before a race but wasn't sure if I was going to race until last night.

Running warm up/down 30:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)

Gentle jog down the C2C path from swimming pool and then back after the session.

Running intervals 34:00 [4] 7.5 km (4:32 / km)

6*1km/2min recovery on the old railway line in Keswick/Greta Gorge.

Pleased with the session, consistent times.
