Cycling (Mountain Bike) 1:00:00 [3]

Went up to Whinlatter round the Blue loop and some extra. Nice ride with no heavy impact on the legs after yesterday. Legs felt good but my back was quiet sore but stretched it out.

Threlkeld to home via Latrigg, Lords Seat and Fellbarrow.

Got dropped off by dad in Threlkeld. Started fairly comfortably along the railway line and up Latrigg. Then settled into a pace through Keswick and Braithwaite. Climbed well up to Lords Seat on the trails (had something to eat/drink halfway up). Dropped off Lords Seat all the way into Lorton taking the downhills steady to save my legs. Eat/drank just before Lorton. Along the road to Thackwaite. Then walked pretty much all the way up Fellbarrow but a fast walk. Gel on top and then back towards town for the last 6km.

Felt pretty strong but not as much as last weekend. Loading the truck at work yesterday and smashed my thigh against the tow bar and gave myself a dead leg which is still sore. So from Keswick there was a slight dumb pain in left leg. Pleased with the run and good to get a longer run in. 6 weeks till the Three Peaks.

Fast and furious sprint on Crow Park hill. Was going well until I went from 6-14 , carried on when I realised on the way to 10 and went back to the right 7. Big mistake but was running well. Nice evening for it.

Easy week this week but long run planned for the weekend.

Run round Derwentwater. Tempo for the first 5km (19:20). Then settled into a easy pace and enjoyed the weather.

Sams class. Got there a little early so did a loop in Papcastle. Then the normal warm up with everyone with drills. Body felt tired this morning but felt ok once I was warmed up. Then did some out and back efforts with Albert, fairly long recoveries (90 seconds). Ended up doing seven hitting each one at 2:15 for 700m (3:12min/km). Pleased with the session considering the weekend.
