Stirling 10k - pre-season fitness test

Packed race with 800 runners. Good atmosphere with plenty of support from people, nice flat course. Set off too quickly, settled into a nice pace till 4km and then had a bad couple of kilometres till 6km, then felt good and started to up the pace back but then nearly vomited (stopped for 10 seconds). Hard starting back up again but pushed on as hard as I could go till the finish.

So I'm not as fit as I have been but its a benchmark to start from and motivation!
