Dumyat Hill Race - got Jasons entry as they'd sold out. Wasn't feeling it all day but decided to go and see what I could do. Set off nice and steady, then started to pick off people (8ish) going through the wood. Got into a nice rhythm on hill and started to picked off another 2 people with Matt Fellbaum in my sights. 1st lady came past me as I came up behind Matt. Encouraged Matt on as he looked like he was giving up a little. He stuck onto my heels as we hit the top. He then politely dropped me.... went past the 1st lady within 20 seconds off the top and managed to creep out 1 min by the end. Pushed hard past another person with 100m to go. Felt strong on the climb up not feeling to bad at the top (had I go hard enough?) Descended well without risking injury too much. Knocked off ~3mins off last year which I'm pleased about. More consistent training works... who would of thought it!

Joined Jason and Jon for there hill reps. Nice session getting the heart rate well up. Apart from the first one which was to quick the intervals were fairly even.

Nice easy week last week followed by some walking, time to get back into training again. Looking forward to more time on the hills.
