Official distance 3.4k. Mine was a "noodle" route that meandered aimlessly across the map, espec control 2 (25.01 due to drifting off on long leg), control 5 (24.25 for 200m - was 2 m from control on 4 different occasions), and control 7 (23.26 as stuffed up last bit of long leg). The saving grace is that spending 90+ minutes out on the course boosts my weekly AP stats!

Just me and Nicole. Had a fall in Freo - workman's hose across road and I hit it at wrong angle (like a wet log/ railway track) - few minor grazes and bruises, broken Garmin wrist strap, bent handle bars; all fixable.

Intended to do the loop across to the coast, blueberry danish at S Freo then cross the river and hme. But at 30km mark discovered we had no money - just after that T had a chain malfunction, not only came off but also kinked, which I fixed!. So, decided to just go back the way we'd come. Bit boring but at least got home before it hotted up.
