Warm up and down before / after test running one of shorter courses for JK.

Test run of one of shorter courses from north start. Mostly good, except hesitant going into 3.
Took it pretty steady - tired from friday and saturday's sessions!

Long terrain run around JK map, tagging and checking a few more control sites, not technically challenging enough to be classed as orienteering as it was all TD3 controls.
Felt tired to start off with, but generally OK. Had to walk through the knee deep heather at one point for about 500m! Glad the courses aren't going that way!

Long run from home. Had to cut short as my stomach was playing up. Quite disappointed as apart from that running was feeling really good.

Running tempo (Hilly) 33:50 [4]

Hilly tempo run from the Thornton's house in Guisborough - straight up the hill to Highcliffe Nab, then along the top to the east and back down again.
For most of the run my mizunos were fine, but I did wish I had my dobbs on for some of the slippy sections on the way back down.

Run was probably easier than I wanted it to be, but had to make the compromise because of work and evening NTMAC meeting :-(

Had a really bad day at work today, and ended up imploding on the train home, after having to stay late and battling mentally with myself about whether to go training or not this evening.
I think I made the correct decision in not going.

Core Stability (Strength & Conditioning) 34:35 [2]

New S&C session, taking in leg strength work as suggested by physio Liz after assessment.
My balance is shocking, and single leg exercises were really hard work.
Need to add some weight to the squats and lunges, and maybe practice my deadlift on both legs before going back to single leg.

Had a good stretch afterwards.

Very tired!
