Road Cycling 1:35:58 [3] 41.14 km (2:20 / km)
ahr:138 max:171 slept:9.0 shoes: Northwave Road Cycling Shoes

Opened the curtains this morning and it was clear blue skies, so we jumped up and went out on our bikes before the rain came!
Nicecycle through the lanes and over the A19 at the new bridge, then to Swainby and up Swainby Bank to Cod Beck. Back home through Osmotherly, Thimbleby and Kirkby Sigston. Started raining just after Osmotherley.

Running race (Tees Forest Series) 20:11 [5] 5.0 km (4:02 / km)
ahr:179 max:185 slept:7.5 weight:60lbs shoes: Asics Trail Shoes

5km Trail race at Leisure Farm at Coulby Newham - really nice course, although I was working so hard I didn't know much about it.
Probably set off too quick as after about the first kilometer I didn't pass anybody and lots of people passed me. Having said that, it felt comfortable, so maybe everyone else just set off slowly!
Think I managed to maintain my form through to the end, except for maybe the sprint finish!

Road Cycling warm up/down 28:00 [2]
ahr:135 max:156 slept:7.5 weight:60lbs

Cycle out to and back from Rawcliffe Bar P&R from the station so I could go to the EBOR Summer Series event. Good warm up!

Rawcliffe Ings 60min score, or better known as how fast can you get round all the controls. Nothing super-technical, but route choice decision probably quite important. Pretty happy with what I did, but could have been a bit faster?

Felt really good - definitely starting to have less fear of running really fast through terrain and thinking more about how to clear obstacles.
