Running long 2:07:24 [3]

Very early morning long run around Cartmel valley. Took ages to get going, and then I tired towards the end. Defo need to get recovering for OMM next weekend

Orienteering race 16:08 [4]

CLOK Sprint Race - Lord Stones. Felt awful! It was cold and misty and I wasn't in the right frame of mind at all. Didn't acheive the flow and forward planning that I did at the last sprint race

Technical training at Bogle Crag. I had some very friendly control hangers / collectors which meant I was able to flow a bit better. Focus on visualisation, so tried a bit of talk-o, with mixed success

Still tired from weekend and my throat started hurting around lunchtime which made me feel pretty grumpy. Got worse through the afternoon so by the time I got home I had very little motivation. I cancelled my 30min easy run and just did core stability (34mins) followed by some pilates from Pooley's book.

Extra rest day to recover from hardest week's training so far, plus Pooley needed rescuing from his adventure, so didn't have any time to train anyway!
