Im knackered today
Not much sleep and mega effort yesterday really took it out of me i think. I cant make circuits due to the need for steak anyway so maybe ill just sleep all day :D

First ever (big) event, felt pretty confident coming up to it coz of Abrams' expert coaching yesterday. Ran middle leg (Liz-Me-Charli)

1 - Good - was a bit thrown on the scale so a bit hesitant but i carried on knowing i was in the right direction.
2 - Same as 1...a bit slow but i persevered coz i knew i was right.
3 - good...could have been quicker
4 - good
5 - okay
6 - spot on, pretty much fell onto the control
7 - good, once i realised that the brown squiggle was a gulley. had me worried for a bit that i didnt know what i was looking for
8 - PERFECT - (got a bit excited and happy at this point that i was doing ok)
9 - pure faff. stupid rhodedendrons (lost about 3 mins) there was deffo not a clearing where i thought it was.
10 - very good
11 - spot on. and overtook a W18 on my course :P
12 - good
13 - finish!!

I went out 4th, and came back 4th. that can only be a win :)
I'm very proud of myself - makes a change!!

Actual running time = 45mins ish. Abrams and liz took me out on the 21v course after i could steal charlis map. Was good, concentrated on aps for each part of the leg. Ended up doing it really well, following a perfect bearing and fell over the control at least twice it was that good. Confident for tomoro :)

My calves still want to snap, and im still coughing up crap. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :(
wanted to run/do intervals this evening but im silly tired so probably not a good idea. I've had a pretty intense few days since sunday so maybe a lazy day is in order.

Bingham
Fluceluce came down and gave me some pointers (thank you lucy :) )
exercise1: Concentrating on finding an ap and catching features for each leg. worked well. :)
exercise2: re-location with ash. ran half a leg then gave the other person the map and they finished off. again, did well, im pretty confident now but still cant say i like it that much.
oh and i dont like holly bushes either.

Running intervals 58:00 [5] 5.6 km (10:21 / km)
(sick) shoes: Saucony Ride xt-900

8 x 350m (mapped it as 400m but it was deffo not that far) with 5mins rest inbetween.
Was going to go to track, but was bored and as it was light dragged ash down to bingham. Mapmyrun said 0.4km but im pretty sure i cant run that in sub70secs...so we'll say 350km.

really enjoyed this, felt gradually better up until the last one when i had nothing left. breathing still heavy and chest tight because of le illness. merde.
