Took a break from housework to get some exercise, but stuck mainly to the creek valley because legs still not feeling great - ITBs have never really recovered from the overnight flights to/from SF - and found a colony of fairy houses along the singletrack. Did go up behind Carrick Hill for the view, thinking that I could shortcut out the front gate when I'd had enough of ascending. It turns out that Carrick Hill is closed to the public for the month of July, but also turns out that a smallish human can easily roll under the locked gate...
