Made hard work of 15 controls on a scatter course which went up behind Carrick Hill (thereby including parts of Brownhill Creek and Waite) because my knees didn't want to go either up nor down - and Zara & Leith kept zooming past me (they were chasing each other around the long). Was annoyed not to find the control on the singletrack switchbacks, because the description was track bend but in fact it was placed halfway between the bends. So I didn't see it, and in fact checked out half a dozen switchbacks...also had trouble on the 'boulder' in the scrub, and got quite lost looking for a tree in Waite Arboretum. But the mansions of Springfield on the way back to the finish were ah-may-zing.
