running (Bellevue Heights) 53:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Nimbus 21

Sciatica much better today, although brain & legs still rather fatigued. This run was infinitesimally longer and infinitely more enjoyable than any I undertook in California (where I was equally scared about potential muggers and potential earthquakes). Decided to follow the singletrack switchbacks down into Sturt Gorge, with the sound of running water getting closer, then from the river I came straight up Ctenotus* track and it was a good thing that it was dark so I couldn't see how steep it was. I do love living in Adelaide, especially in winter!

Suburban jog before watching the penultimate and ultimate Big Bang episodes. Not that I'm a dedicated watcher thereof, but there's been a somehow-comforting relatability to the show...
(even though I don't really understand physics)

running intervals 7:00 [5] 1.8 km (3:53 / km)

18 x 100m, relay-teamed with Liv & Abi. Felt like I was doing a bit better than a month ago (my hamstring has only just recovered from that session!) especially since these were slightly longer 100s than last time.

Note

The Day That Did Not Exist (thanks in part to the International Date Line).
Got on the plane Fri night in San Francisco, and off it 15 hours later in Sydney on Sunday morning. Did I mention that we're glad to be back in Aust?
