riding (Brownhill Creek) 1:03:00 [3] 19.5 km (3:14 / km)

Too nice a morning not to go for a ride. Did bad things to my knees though :(
4 PM

running (Belair) 47:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Kayano 23

Too nice an afternoon not to go for a run. The waterfalls weren't falling but I did see a deer, with full set of antlers. For a few seconds I thought I was back in California!

running (Belair night) 54:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Nimbus 21

Squelchy redwoods return with Zara. I think these shoes are starting to become bad for my feet...full moon was rising as we finished, but I doubt it will have much utility on the weekend.

running (Shepherds Hill) 47:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Nimbus 21

Thought I'd go see the waterfall on the side creek, so this turned into a 3-hills loop, which was slow because rather slippery. Saw some almond blossom, so spring must be coming :)

running (North Adelaide) 50:00 [3]
shoes: Asics Nimbus 21

Weir return, with uni loop as warm up/down. Manu accompanied us on Liv's bike! We freaked Ben out by managing the correct cadence to make the uni footbridge bounce :)

orienteering race (Rock Oyster) 1:38:27 [3] 8.2 km (12:00 / km) +330m 10:00 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon bluegreen

A bit more enthused about the actual orienteering today - after a week of JWOC-watching - than last week and for once I actually enjoyed Rock Oyster although knees were really feeling it by the end. There was decent route choice on a number of legs but generally I took the up-and-over option because I didn't think I'd be any quicker going around. Definitely need to work on terrain fitness if I am to run 21s at Oceania...
