walk 55:00 [2]
shoes: Gel Phoenix

Had intended to go to the beach but ended up going south, Gardens Hill Cres, Melville, and then around the bottom of the Botanic Gardens and back on Salonika. Found our footpath tree in the Gardens, and it is a Syzygium, not a Corymbia, after all. Should have picked that from the opposite leaves, but had gotten overly distracted by the leathery-ness and the strong midrib. Also found one of the trees that I stuck in to help screen the neighbours. And an identified tree full of bees (including honeybees - rarely see them) that were buzzing so loudly that I could hear them from across a four lane road. A good walk!

Suburbs. To Ludmilla via the market loos and home from the fire station corner. Felt pretty warm and sweaty by the end, but then I was an hour later than usual.

Suburb walk. Out along Coronation and then cut across to the Flinders Drive side. Not much interesting cyclone-cleanup rubbish out yet...maybe after the weekend:).

walk 40:00 [2]

Was ready a bit earlier than usual so made it around/through the botanic gardens, across the highway and into the middle of Stuart Park, to be back by 7am. Really felt the hills (the whole two tiny ones!).

Deep Water Running 30:00 [3]

At the waterfront. Not so busy today...no holiday Slip-n-slide out on the grass today.

Note

No time for morning walk, off to FRCG quarterly meeting in Batchelor. Slept with aircon last night, first time ever in the 5 years in our house and maybe even in our whole time in Darwin.....so feeling guilty, but on the other hand I slept sooooo much better than I have been (only woke up 4 times) and felt wayyyy fresher....like I could actually go and chair a meeting and make sensible decisions. A big relief to feel like my brain does still work after all!

Promised myself I could start logging walking at 30 weeks. Feeling rather rubbish after a crappy night's sleep. Enjoyed feeling a little bit of coolness outdoors.

Deep Water Running 25:00 [3]

Busy at lagoon today! School holidays. Had to be pushy at the shower to get a rinse off...kids just like to play under it:).
