Walked to put out six controls at Holmes Jungle for Lach & Emily's night event. Emily is most awesome as organiser, every flag was already neatly wrapped with reflector on! Nicely non-rushed set up before dark and more breeze and less mosquitoes than I expected so pretty nice for sitting around (didn't do a course). As usual all the brand new people wanted to do the moderate course, even though it was in the dark!

Around the block. Birds very active this morning, lots of birds diving in and out of trees and being noisy. Maybe I don't normally notice because on a work day the traffic is too noisy...or my other theory is that they're excited because they think it's going to rain next week. I like that theory better:).
Little walk around the 'block'. Which is more like a triangle. Seemed a bit sweatier than recent days, but maybe that was because I was half an hour later than usual.
Out of bed a bit earlier today, so a bit more time before sun up. Across to Ski Club, along cliff top past school and home via Mindil and back up the hill to Salonika. There was a confused dog near the Ski Club, we could both hear its owner but it was really hard to pinpoint the direction of the sound.
Around the primary school and Flinders Drive, then home through the streets. Weather not very humid at the moment which is nicer for me.

Deep Water Running15:00 [3]
Back at Parap pool, under the shade. Waterfront lagoon quite hot and soupy now so this much nicer. Hard work though as not as much buoyancy! Had to rest every two mins and do some kicking at the wall.
