Training Log Archive: SusC

Of course...no park run as Anzac Day, though I had forgotten initially and got up early anyway. So headed out by myself and looped down through Mindil and Little Mindil to Larrakeyah, then back to Gardens, past café with delicious coffee smell and home. Felt v empty out, the most empty of all Public Holidays there are. Felt kind of guilty for being up and not being at Dawn Service actually!

Walked pram across to our house where Lach was doing stuff, then around in Parap for a bit, via markets, to get E to sleep, then back to house and tried to weed a little but E woke up.

To a mums/bubs pool party over at the far side of Parap.

Back from the pool party, with E getting so close to sleep but not getting there. So came home and went to the loo quickly and changed shoes to keep walking but turned out a lost cause. Walked to Botanic Gardens, had a feed on seat to calm the fussing, then gave up and came home. Only succeeded in losing yellow lizard from the pram somewhere. A shame, he was nice.

Beaut dry season morning! Walked with E in pram though edge of Parap, Vestey's Lake, along past Ski club, museum to Mindil, inland past golf course to use loo at Botanic Gardens and then attempted a small sit down to read at a seat under a tree near the home end of the Gardens at the 30 min mark of the sleep to see what would happen. Predictably, E woke up at 40 mins and stayed awake, despite me getting going again straight away. Should have then gone directly home but detoured a little to the lights to see if I could find the muslin that must have blown out of the pram early on in the walk as noticed it missing at Vestey's...no luck, just got an unimpressed E fussing us home.
